Spike Recovery

The spike recovery was evaluated by spiking 3 levels of Human CX3CL1/Fractalking into health human serum sample. The un-spiked serum was used as blank in this experiment.
The recovery ranged from 79% to 128% with an overall mean recovery of 114%.

Serum/Plasma – Thirty samples from apparently healthy volunteers were evaluated for the presence of CX3CL1/Fractalking in this assay. No medical histories were available for the donors.

Background: CX3CL1/Fractalking

Fractalkine(CX3CL1)是CX3C类趋化因子中唯一成员,由373个氨基酸构成,存在膜结合型和分泌型两种形式。其膜结合型由趋化结构域、粘蛋白样茎状结构、跨膜域及胞内域组成,可被炎症因子诱导表达;分泌型通过蛋白水解生成,具有趋化活性。在哺乳动物脑、肺、心脏等器官中均有表达,神经元及胶质细胞可分泌该蛋白。
